Yes, all seniors attending Marlborough area high schools and planning to enroll in college the following fall are eligible to apply, no matter their intended college major. While a business interest is beneficial, many facets are considered in the decision process, including academic achievements, extra-curricular activities, and letters of reference.
Please mail it to MRCF, 11 Florence St, Marlborough, MA 01752.
Everything you need to know about applying for an MRCF scholarship is described in the application form. Follow the application guidelines carefully! Any application that fails to follow the guidelines will not be reviewed by the committee.
Yes, that is fine! We are not concerned about whether you are applying for other scholarships, too.
Successful applicants will be notified by mail after the scholarship committee completes their review in early May. Each student who is awarded a scholarship will receive a letter from MRCF, and their guidance counselor will receive a copy, too. MCRF will notify you via mail of our awards event where the scholarships will be presented.
We ask all scholarship recipients to have their photo taken at the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce office over the summer. We will use your photo on social media and the Chamber and MRCF websites, with your permission. Once you have completed your first semester of college, we will contact you again to hear about your college experience. Why? Because your story will inspire new MRCF scholarship applications – and hopefully new donations so we can increase the number of scholarships we offer!
